"DIGISAFE" is a fintech credit organization, which was established at the beginning of 2021 and registered in the Central Bank of Armenia on July 13, 2021. "DIGISAFE" provides gold pledged consumer loans via mobile application. After gold evaluation, the whole process is digitalized and implemented via the mobile application of the client. This innovative solution is unique in the region. Gold pledged evaluated and with that amount, a loan limit opened for a client in their mobile phone. Then client gets the opportunity to remotely take the loan at any time, by one or several withdrawals. The client can repay the loan or part of the loan anytime, save interest and take the loan again when needed. Once the loan agreement is expired, a client can retake the new loan remotely, at any time using the same pledge. Client in real-time can see the list of pledged items with detailed descriptions via mobile application and take back pledged items by ordering them via mobile application. The client can choose the interest repayment date matching it with their cash flow. "DIGISAFE" provides opportunities for its clients to keep their gold in a secure and safe place while having instant access to financial resources in mobile when money will be required. The loan can be received via mobile application anytime and from anywhere, even from abroad.

Our story

Though many banks and financial institutions in Armenia provide gold pledged loans, and Banks are using mobile applications for a while, surprisingly for gold pledged loans no one, even in the region, suggests the provision of gold pledged loans via mobile application.
Founders of «DIGISAFE» aim to fill in the existing gaps, join their efforts and experiences in order using modern technological solutions to create a mobile application so that clients can get gold loans remotely. The specification of the business model is that client is not required to pledge and get a loan simultaneously. In other words in our model clients can pledge gold but take a loan later, only when it will be required, if not, then the client can take their pledge back anytime they wish without paying any fee for storage. The other difference of our product unlike existing options in the market is that «DIGISAFE» provides an opportunity to repay the loan or part of the loan, and retake the loan again without any limitation during the all-time of the loan agreement. This will give an opportunity to the client to repay the loan when no need for money, save interest and take a loan when there is a need for money again.

From 2007 until 2013, he was CFO then from 2013 until 2020 was CEO of FINCA UCO the subsidiary of FINCA Impact Finance/FINCA International. From 2006 until 2007 he was Head of Internal Audit Department of INECOBANK CJSCHe was Manager/Team Leader of Banking group in Grant Thornton Amyot), Member of Grant Thornton International were worked about 7 years starting from an auditor.
    Previously he worked in the Central Bank of Armenia and in the Armenian Telephone Company as an Accountant and Financial Analyst.

     Mamuka has more than 22 years of experience in banking and finance. From 1999 until 2002, he worked in ProCredit Bank Georgia starting his carrier as the loan officer and promoted to Branch Manager. From 2003 until 2006, he worked in Business & Finance Consulting (BFC) and later in Frankfurt School of Finance and Management, Germany as a Bank Advisor. In 2006, he worked as a Chief Operating Officer of TAO Bank, Georgia. From 2007-2008 he worked in European Fund for Southeast Europe (EFSE) as Investment Officer, then in Frankfurt School of Finance and Management, Moldova as Senior Bank Advisor. Starting from 2009, he worked in FINCA Bank Georgia first as a Chief Operating Officer, then from 2015 as a Regional Credit Manager for Eurasia Region. In parallel Mamuka serve in the Supervisory Board of FINCA Armenia and in 2018 elected as a Chairman of the Board.
    Currently, Mamuka working as a key expert in Agriculture & Finance Consultants (AFC) Gmbh at the same time he is a partner and co-investor in Boutique Hospitality Management Company, Georgia.

     Tigran has more than 17 years of experience in IT. He started his carrier in 2003 as System & Network Support Engineer in Lycos CJSCF, then Tigran work in Enterprise Incubator Foundation, 101 Worldwide Labs, and from 2011 in Oracle (former SCLab LLC) as a System & Network Administrator. After that, he was IT Manager on Franchise in "SAS GROUP" LLC. Starting in 2013 Tigran shift to the Banking sector and work 3 years in "ProCredit Bank" CJSC as Senior System Administrator. In 2016, he worked in Inecobank CJSC as Senior Systems Engineer and IT Project Manager in Digitain LLC. After Tigran was hired as a Head of Information Services Department in "FINCA" UCO CJSC / Subsidiary of FIF US, where he worked in that capacity until 2021.
    Currently, Tigran working in Technamin LLC as a Senior System Architect/Team lead.

     Hakob has about 20 years of experience in banking and finance. From 2012 until 2013, he was the Head of Internal Audit then from 2013 until 2021 was CEO of Fast Credit Capital UCO. From 2006 until 2011 he was a Bank Supervisor in the Financial Supervision Department of the Central Bank of Armenia. Previously he worked in Money Gram and Allianz, Athens, Greece. Hakob is a co-founder and member of the Armenian social and Cultural Center in Athens.

     Vahe has about 20 years of experience in the banking sector. From 1994 until 2000, he worked in Credit Yerevan Bank as chief specialist in the loan department. From 2006, he worked in Armswissbank as an analyst in the corporate loan department. In 2007, he worked as a chief specialist in the corporate loan department of BTA Invest Bank. Then from 2008 until 2009, he worked as an internal auditor first in BTA Invest Bank then in Ararat Bank
